Is there any chance that Israel will make another Domestic Fighter Aircraft, as they did with the Kfir and the Lavi?

It might be pretty useful for them, as an independent aircraft to maintain independence of infrastructure, a plane tailored to their needs in a custom way, and a way to boost and maintain their excellent technical base.

I don't think Israel has the population or industrial base to do that.

Given that they DID build the Kfir in numbers and designed the Lavi,
they
could definitely pull it off. However, it would be quite an expensive
undertaking - and looking at their needs, actually it's more likely
they'd
just design the first practical UCAV instead.

Israel already produces a wide variety of drones, after all, and at
least
in the air defense role, they don't need that much range...
