Does anyone know of any good on-line photographs of the Los Angeles on
the Saratoga's flight deck - but taken so that both are fully visible?
There are a number of pictures taken from the Saratoga - but I cannot
find any where the ship and airship are both completely visible.

If there are they have hidden them damned well! All I can find are
the usual pics taken from the deck of the Saratoga.

I checked out DANFS and Andy Toppans "Haze Gray & Underway" site with
no luck...

Thought you'd enjoy these shots to soften the disappointment

There are a number of pictures taken from the Saratoga - but I cannot

Thanks to all suggestions - but no, none were of the image I wanted.

To recap:

1) None taken from the deck of the Saratoga qualify - I have dozens of
those.
2) The Saratoga in its entirety must be in the image, preferably
side-on.
3)The airship in its entirety must be in the image, also side on.
4) The airship must be on the deck of the Saratoga - not doodling
around real close by, or hovering about above it.

Thanks for trying - I guess such an image does not exist. Sigh. I
suppose I could photoshop one......

Based on this entry in DANFS, it looks like the Los Angeles may never
have been on the deck of the Saratoga

"In an experiment on 27 January, the rigid airship Los Angeles (ZR-3)
moored to Saratoga's stern and took on fuel and stores."

Quite correct - the car of the Los Angeles was however on the deck,
albeit at the stern, or close enough for sailors to climb in and out,
of the Saratoga, as numerous pictures taken from the Saratoga show.

But it does seem that nobody took a side view photograph of the pair

Here is a crude, very crude, approximation of the image I seek:
